Birthday Notifications

Subscribe to member birthdays and manage your birthday notification preferences.

Never miss a church member's birthday. Subscribe to individual birthdays and receive a notification on their special day.

Subscribing to a Birthday

From any member's profile, tap the bell icon (đź””) next to their birthday to subscribe. You'll receive a confirmation prompt before subscribing.

Once subscribed, the bell icon appears filled in instead of outlined. Tap again to unsubscribe.

Managing Subscriptions

View all your birthday subscriptions:

  1. Open Settings → Notification Settings
  2. Tap Birthday Notifications

On this screen you can:

  • View everyone you're subscribed to with their upcoming birthday
  • Unsubscribe by tapping the bell icon next to any entry
  • Pause all birthday notifications with the master toggle at the top
Tip: Pausing notifications preserves your subscriptions—turn the toggle back on anytime to resume.

When Notifications Arrive

Birthday notifications are sent on the morning of the birthday (around 8:00 AM in your organization's timezone).

Can't Subscribe?

If you don't see a bell icon on someone's profile:

  • They may have set their birthday to private
  • Their birthday may not be recorded in the system
  • You cannot subscribe to your own birthday
