Managing Groups

Create, edit, and delete groups (administrator feature).

Users with group management permissions can create new groups, edit existing ones, and manage group membership.

Permission Required: Group management requires one or more of these permissions: add_group, edit_group_admin, remove_group.

Creating a New Group

  1. Tap the "+" button at the bottom of the Groups screen.
  2. Enter group details:
    • Group name (required)
    • Description (optional)
    • Group photo (optional)
  3. Add leaders by searching for and selecting members.
  4. Add members by searching for and selecting people.
  5. Tap "Save" to create the group.

Editing a Group

  1. Open the group you want to edit.
  2. Tap the edit icon or menu option.
  3. Make your changes to name, description, photo, leaders, or members.
  4. Tap "Save" to apply changes.

Deleting a Group

To delete a group:

  1. Open the group you want to delete.
  2. Tap the menu icon (three dots) and select "Delete Group".
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Warning: Deleting a group is permanent and cannot be undone. Members will not be notified.
