Administrators with edit permissions can directly modify member profiles without going through the request system.
Permission Required: Editing profiles requires the
edit_user permission. There's also a separate edit_user_notes permission for notes-only editing.
How to Edit a Profile
- Find the person in the directory and tap to open their profile.
- Tap the Edit button (pencil icon) in the top-right corner.
- Modify the fields you want to change.
- Tap "Save" to apply changes immediately.
Editable Information
As an administrator, you can edit all profile fields including:
- Contact information (phone, email, address)
- Personal details (name, birthday, gender)
- Family relationships (spouse, children, parents)
- Church information (membership date, baptism date, roles)
- Employment details
- Admin notes (visible only to admins)
- Profile and family photos
Notes-Only Editing
Users with edit_user_notes permission (but not full edit_user) can only modify the admin notes field. This is useful for staff who need to add pastoral notes without access to personal information.
Tip: All profile edits are logged with timestamps and the editor's name, so you can track who made what changes.
